A different display unit was used in sixth major revision, it omits the SuperDrive, and various production techniques were used. Then comes towards the seventh major revision, in October 2014 the 27-inch iMac was announced with the main feature i.e. “Retina 5K” display at a resolution of 5120 × 2880 pixels. It came with a graphics chip, a new processor, IO, and few new options. In October 2015, the 21.5-inch iMac was announced with the main feature of Retina 4K” display at a resolution 4096 × 2304 pixels. Other things were the same as a 27-inch iMac.
This spring the latest update was released along with graphics cards and new processors. The starting price for the 21.5 inches is $1,299 and the 27-inch is $1,799. It is exceptionally a sleek computer whether you buy 21.5-inch or 27-inch sizes.
